Membership in the Order

Membership in the Order of the Sovereigns of Ancient Scandinavia recognizes individuals who share a documented ancestral connection to the historic monarchs of Scandinavia. The Order is dedicated to honoring the heritage, lineage, and traditions associated with these ancient royal families.

The Order was founded on May 1, 2019, and incorporated on July 26, 2019, bringing together individuals who celebrate and preserve this historic ancestry.

Eligibility for Membership

Membership is open to individuals aged 16 years or older who can demonstrate genealogical descent, through an approved Gateway Ancestry, from one of the following Scandinavian sovereigns:

• Eric the Victorious — King of Sweden
• Gudfred — King of Denmark
• Harald Fairhair — King of Norway

A commonly recognized lineage pathway may also be traced through:

• Henry I, Capet
• Anne of Kiev
